Coaching, of a standard as high as you could receive in any main stream sport, is now available for surfing. Surf Simply’s beautiful, all inclusive, surf coaching resort in Nosara, Costa Rica has changed the way people think about surf camps.
The Surf Simply team are all qualified BSA and ISA Surf Coaches as well as being RLSS and ILS Lifeguards, but more importantly they’re surf geeks. They love to get stuck into the “hows” and “whys” of surfing and then to articulate it in an interesting and engaging way. Unlike traditional surf schools, this isn’t just about standing on a surfboard. Instead you’ll leave with the building blocks to teach yourself to go on surfing better.
You have the option of either sharing one of the luxury two bedroom surf chalets or having it all to yourself. You can opt to share a room or have a private room in a shared chalet too if you like. Have a look though the options below and see what suits you best.
Prices are per person in USD, and we process payment into our UK bank account in Great British Pounds.

So What Does That Include Exactly? |
No hidden costs. That’s the key. We think it’s really annoying when extra costs keep creeping into a vacation, so we’ve thought of everything. Here’s exactly what is and isn’t included in your package.
- Transfers to and from the airport (Liberia or San Jose).
- 7 nights accommodation (Saturday to Saturday) in your shared or private surf chalet.
- 10 x 90 minutes of in water surf coaching with the world’s best.
- 5 x 30 minutes class room sessions on surf theory and video feedback.
- A well-earned mid week full body massage with our qualified massage therapist, or a course of 5 yoga classes with Jessie.
- A pre-surf continental breakfast early in the morning and a post-surf big brunch, late morning.
- In the evening we will visit a different local restaurant every night, each with it’s own cuisine and stunning view or enjoy a BBQ on the beach as the sun goes down.
- After three days of surfing (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday) you’ll be ready for a day off. So Wednesday is all yours to relax and/or take advantage of one of the complimentary activities on offer. There’s the zip line jungle canopy tour, try out an SUP session, kayak adventure, horseback riding or a yoga class.
- Don’t worry about buying a rash guard (which protects you from the sun and chaffing while you surf) as we’ve got that covered too. We’ll give you a rashguard to use and take home, hand made from the highest quality lycra here in Costa Rica.
- We’ll also provide you with sunblock and even zinc for your lips and nose, so you can stay young and beautiful even after hours in the sun. |
…And What’s Not Included? |
Your flights to Costa Rica are not included but once you touch the ground in Liberia (2.5 hours from us) or San Jose (5.5 hours from us), we’ve got you covered. Wednesday is the only day on which you will make your own eating arrangements. You can visit one of the local cafes or restaurants, which are a short walk from the resort, or visit the local organic store and rustle something up for yourself in your chalet’s kitchen. The only other costs you’ll have have are a new pair of boardshorts or a snazzy new bikini.
